Escrima 1 – all gender
A truncheon/baton is an extremely suitable self-defese tool: it extends ones range and keeps the distance to the attacker. To be able to use the baton as an untrained non-combat sportsman, it is good to adopt a few basic principles. We practice basic techniques for stick handling, punching opportunities, striking sequences, the stable position during the beating and the movement with the stick, 90 minutes in the group and in alternating pawn constellations. We use batons made of rattan, as they are used for example in Escrima. There is no previous knowledge required, but some joy in the movement in the group.

Escrima 2 – all gender
Workshop for beginners. An overview of the Philippine martial arts / self defense system Escrima is given. Our approach „Escrima-Amicalement“ combines techniques from the classical „Balintawak Arnis“ with elements of European Escrima concepts and influences from other martial arts under the objective of practical applicability. Contents: punch-, block- and counter-techniques with the shortstick (65 cm) and their transfer to the unarmed combat. Depending on the interests of the participants: advanced counter-techniques, disarmament, palmstick / Kubotan or the weaponless defense against ground attacks. Sticks are available.

SPORTS MASSAGE – FLTI* (Women/Lesbian/Trans*/Inter)
Before, during or after a sporting activity, it can be helpful or even necessary to assist a person with a massage physically and mentally. I show you some massage techniques and when and how they can be applied. I am looking forward to an activating, soothing and balancing time with you. The workshop language will be german.

Krav Maga – FLTI*
Krav Maga is a self-defense and melee system, not a combat sport in the classical sense. In this introductory seminar, we will look at basic defense techniques against frequent attacks and provide a concept that will give you the opportunity to effectively defend you in an emergency. We will try to train the techniques so that they work under stress.

Yoga – all gender – english
The yoga class starts with a breathing technique (Pranayama) used in ancient Eastern traditions for grounding and peace, combines several yoga styles, and ends with a gentle (perhaps singing bowl) meditation. It is best suited for those already familiar with yoga, but beginners curious about getting in touch with their deeper self are welcome as well.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS – all gender
Functional fitness combines speed, strength, endurance and agility as a functional unit. We train exclusively with our own body weight. The course is designed in such a way that couch potatoes as well as experienced fitnessnerds break out in a sweat.

Theoretical workshops:

FIRST AID: SPORT INJURY
We all know this: pain, strains, blue spots. Injuries belong to combat sports. This workshop aims to prevent these, to present treatments (when I have to go to the doctor) and to share experiences. Small input to proper training, taping, bandages, creams and stretching. If we have still time a few tricks to the self-massage / sports massage from the repertoire of the Thaimassage resp. First aid.

PROJECT PROTECTION
How do I protect my project from attacks? – Safety analysis: structural measures and / or external impact.

SCENARIO TRAINING: ENTRANCE DOOR / SECURITY AREA
Team, what does that mean? How can you quickly and effectively get people out? By reconciling event situations, conflicts in the door area are to be clarified. There are concrete persons, acting persons with secret order and observing persons. A joint analysis of the scenes follows.

My body is a weapon – Workshop „MARTIAL ARTS AND GENDER“
My body is a weapon – Workshop on the subject of „Sport, Gender and Violence“
In sport, the body is paramount, so it is also an area where, among other things, Sexism and gender-role models are becoming increasingly apparent and reinforced. It begins with the boys / girls separation in the school sport and ends at the public perception, which sport is best suited to which gender. Violence also plays a role in many sports and is shown by its different socialization in sporting behavior. Therefore, there will be a theoretical part devoted to the subject of „sexism in (combat) sports“, which should also be a space for your experiences.
